Country Lagori /Saat Pathar/Satoliya
A sport played in every part of India.
Simple game of arranging 7 stones (uneven) one on top of others,
topple it and arrange it back while your opponents try to disturb you and make you out by throwing ball on person(s) holding stones for
arranging.
Team successfully survives and builds and shouts “Lagori” 3 times around the tower they built on shortest time wins.
__If you think of it ,it may
represent lifes struggles as we build up and try to stay put__.

Gilli Dandu / Kitti pul / Kuttiyum kolum
Another team game played across many countries in numerous ways with origins over 2500 years.
Objective of the game is to hit the gilli with dandu. You score a point for a hit. The opposing players try to catch it. However, this can be dangerous as the Gilli has sharp edges. In the game we do doubling, tripling and get the longest distance. The opposing players try to hit the dandu(bat) once the Gilli has landed (run-out in cricket).
Point to Ponder : Is this how cricket and baseball evolved?
Message Pallavi/Asha/Narasimha/Chengappa to Register yourselves, parents and children to participate

Goli
Another universal games played in innumeous ways just using few marbles
Basically hit the mables with each other. As a team try to displace as
many marbles as you can to roll them to holes, or hit them as per targets given, vaiations are as many as imagination.
*****************************************************************************
Sling shot / Catepult
Aim and hit target and collect points. closer to target, more points.
*****************************************************************************
Who can imagine the pleasure simple cycle Tyre can bring by making it
run in straight line without it falling. you have to experience it.
There are many many sit and play games completely fogotten. More details on them later today.

Tower of Brahma - Only 2 rules, shift the tower with 7 rings,
using 2 empty pegs, 1 ring at a time and always keep small ring on
top. It will make your brain think logically. Next try to do it in
optimal moves.
This game is believed to be played by Priests in Poori Jaganath temple
using 64 golden discs. Runout has it, than when they finish moving the tower the world would will
end. But, not to fear it takes a millennium to move 64 discs. 7 discs takes 127 moves if done optimally
